  3. Does anyone know how to contact the returned division for this man?
His fellow army mates need to be told of this assault on their friend.

  4. Justice would be Nuttle getting the same treatment in his new custodial living arrangements.
    An eye for an eye.

  5. It makes me sick to think staff do not come forward. What happened to this man? The comment above ( I worked there when he was there)? That tells the family nothing. There is not a hope in hell that my parents will go into an aged care facility.

  6. Tell the family what happened to this man. You may not be guilty of his bashing, but you do have an obligation to his family.. Please speak out..

  7. What is his family doing about this? We live in a world where families don't give a shit. .. Not to mention health care workers.. What will i inherit.. These people need to speak out.. Care about your Mum and Dad.. Step back and take notice. You inherit nothing but the love and compassion that they passed on.. Will the family step forward and ask questions? Probably not.. Why??

  8. In response to Anonymous August 7 ....Staff did go forward on more than one occassion... (NOT just on behalf of Tony...but with other issues) and without revealing his entire medical history and what the staff went thru...it is impossible to give out full details

  9. SING has evidence that this man's family did speak out. They contacted the Department of Health and Ageing, the Queensland Police Service (QPS)and met with Eventide management. Anthony was taken to a private Doctor because of his severe injuries and immediately were advised to take the matter straight to the QPS.
On behalf of this family, a SING SUPPORT GROUP member produced this evidence to at least two Opposition Parliamentary members.
SING understands that QPS took photographs of these injuries. This serious case was also discussed on ABC Radio with a well known radio announcer and newspaper columnist.
If anyone is in any doubt that this family did not do everything they possibly could to report this matter to the relevant authorities, please contact SING for a time and date to view this evidence.
SING has made this same offer to others who have doubted - indeed criticised - the credibility of cases posted on this website - but to date nobody has ever requested to view evidence.

  10. What was the outcome? Why are management still in there positions of power???

  11. The comment above is October 2009. It is now 2010. Management are still there in there same positions. The bullying and intimidation continues. More and more positions are created weekly. They are not hands on staff for our residents. Why are these people there? Nothing has changed at Eventide. So there was no outcome. The outcome will be that these people on the higher salaries will be accountable when they pass over into life after death.

  12. Who was the nurse doing the special when he was assulted? Thats who's accountable, it was the responsibility of the special to have eyes on the patient at all times. Was that person ever interogated? Perhaps they should be.....These bullies deserve to die screaming and slowly.

  13. It is so upasetting to look at the photo of this once beautiful young man who served his country. Now his life is of no consequence except to a few who keep up the good fight.

Everyone of you who is reading this website has the responsibility to pass this information on. It's only by public outrage (as in the live export industry) that anything will change in aged care. Speak up and be pro-active. Band together and form a strategy. By doing nothing you condone what is happening.
