NURSING A GRUDGE AGAINST HOFFMAN. SINGS ASKS: PREMIER ANNA BLIGH, WHY HAS QUEENSLAND HEALTH NOT COMPENSATED TONI HOFFMAN FOR HER PAIN AND SUFFERING?

Please see: (1a) Nursing a grudge against Hoffman by Kay Dibben. The Sunday Mail on right of SING's website

WHY DOES SHE HAVE TO BE FURTHER STRESSED TO OBTAIN JUSTICE FROM QUEENSLAND HEALTH?

WHY ARE QUEENSLAND HEALTH'S CREDIBLE PUBLIC INTEREST WHISTLEBLOWERS TREATED LIKE 'LEPERS'?

WHY DOES QUEENSLAND HEALTH HAVE TO SYSTEMATICALLY DESTROY THE HEALTH AND CAREERS OF THOSE EXPOSING WRONGDOING?

WHY DOES TONI HOFFMAN HAVE TO ENDURE MORE OF THE SAME DESPICABLE QUEENSLAND HEALTH CULTURE THAT WAS BROUGHT TO THE PUBLIC'S ATTENTION WHEN SHE FIRST BLEW THE WHISTLE? IT IS INDEED A SICK CULTURE.

WHY ARE FRAUDSTERS, CRIMINALS AND INCOMPETENT BUREAUCRATS TREATED BETTER THAN PUBLIC INTEREST WHISTLEBLOWERS?

  1. Because Qld Health would have no employees left if everyone did what Toni did. They don't want to set a precedent. They are sh@# scared at what this is going to unleash....and scared they should be. If decent caring people would get over their fear & speak up then all would change.

Toni is one of the most inspiring, courageous, strongest women I have heard of in my lifetime. I have read Hedley Thomas' book 'Sick to Death'. She deserves compensation for the unjust treatment by QH. If it wasn't for her Patel would be still working at Bundaberg Hospital. I hope Toni gets every cent of that money & I hope that the path is a lot smoother than what she has already gone through.

I read 'Sick to Death' some years ago and I think it should be on the best seller list. What struck me at the time was the number of names quoted that were involved in other serious matters at that time. The same bureaucrats, the same managers, the same officials making the same incompetent decisions.
If there is any justice in this world Toni will be compensated for the suffering she has endured. If employees spoke out without the 'fear factor' this system would never have become so sick.
I am well aware that the only way that there will be change within Queensland Health is when staff feel safe to blow the whistle.

  4. It is disgusting that Toni's personal medical history is on display for anyone to read about. What relevance would her cancer screening tests have to her case, and more to the point, has QLD Health abandoned there own code of conduct regarding a patients right to privacy? Toni has the right to be a patient in the health care system with the same privacy that anyone else should expect and get. It all sounds like typical QLD Health bullying to me. Good luck with compensation Toni. You should have been rewarded for what you did anyway, you prevented a lot of harm to future patients of QLD Health.
