Sadly Nurses are not seen as the Angels with the Lamp any more. We have lost our identity and integrity .<br />The bottom line has replaced the care factor. People don't care anymore? Why is that? It is a sad place to be when our elderly are institutionalized and no one really cares.. To many people are willing to turn a blind eye. No one cared about Mr Hadgkiss or Mr Jenner.. They may speak up and loose there jobs? Maybe they sold their souls to management and received favours to shut up? ...I know the young accountant, employed by the AWB.<br />She refused to sign off money tranfers and creditds with do not match debits.<br />She was ordered to do so - she refused.<br />She valued her licance as a practising accountant. She was raised with integrity and values.<br />She bullied isolated, had all her reports removed and vertually sat in a corner to starve her out for 3mths.<br />She finally accepted a payout which was attached to a GAG clause.<br />She suffered major health isssues which she battles every day.<br />Shortly after she was ushered out the back door of the premises, having her handbag mailed to her thereafter.<br />Her health declined for many months.<br />For six months NOT one of the recruitment agencies would give her an interview.<br />She signed hte gag clause in good faith but the AWB did not act in good faith.<br />Approximately 2 months later the AWB activities were exposed and made the headlines.<br />The justice that they were caught and the legal system then became involved.<br />What did this do for the young woman's health and lost opportunities - bugger all.<br />Another whistle blower damaged for life.<br />Who cares??? not those responsible for her hurt and health injury and loss of wages and caree opportunity.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
