Will staff at Eventide nursing home Brighton Qld 4017 , come forward and explain the bruises on Nick Dapontes body ?. Nick DAPONTES aged 75 years died 29 August 2011. Nick Dapontes was a hard working , honest ,loyal , religious and very good family man , married with 4 daughters, so why did he die with bruises on his body ?

  2. Because Nursing Homes attract weak cowardly staff who feel powerless in their lives so let their frustrations out on our beautiful, frail and defenceless elderly. Shame that this is still happening. We need cameras in these homes to review the treatment preceding deaths. This is mass genocide and believe me, if something doesn't change it could be anyone of us in the same position, being starved, abused and neglected....left to die withoug food or water or treatment in a way worse than any animal is allowed to die.

  6. I don't understand why *you* didn't call for an ambulance to have him transported when you saw the staff do nothing?

  7. We ( DAPONTES FAMILY ) did not call the QAS ambulance because office of adult guardian Queensland had 100% control( via 2 QCAT tribunal orders) control of Nick Dapontes for all legal and all medical decisions. We even had no control over the decision not to resus him when he died. Every time we asked a question regarding Nick Dapontes medical condition staff said be quite or we will call security to remove you .! This was also said to our mother who is 78 years old ! We were constantly threatened by staff to shut up and keep quiet or we will call security on you and also then ban you all from seeing 75 Year old Nick Dapontes. If you don't believe this we are happy to show you the video and audio tapes recordings of such ocurences.
